Close to Villa Pamphili, just a walk from Gianicolo,

very near to St. Peter's Basilica

Welcome

The apartment, with a strong artistic feeling, is inside a building along Viale di Villa Pamphili: wide, full of trees and lightened by the sun in every season, the boulevard goes straight to the wonderful and awful Villa,  the biggest and most beautiful public park in the city and the right place, at the Gianicolo,  to enjoy an enchanting 360° view of Rome.
The district, with its typical mixture of green avenues, quite alleys and art nouveau buildings, is one of the most exclusive and rich of a great historical heritage: the XVI century Casino of architect Algardi (meta conference of world personalities), the Christian catacombs in the undergrounds of  St. Pancrazio's Church and the monumental Mostra dell'Acqua Paola, with the spectacular fountain ordered by Paolo V in the XVI century.
Monteverde is also one of the most lively cultural place in Rome: because of the events at the American, Finnish and Norwegian Academy, at the Institute of German Studies and also because here live and have worked many well-known artists such as engraver M. C. Escher,  director and poet Pier Paolo Pasolini,  contemporary directors Bernardo Bertolucci, Nanni Moretti and Carlo Verdone, musician Nicola Piovani (La vita è bella): people that is easy to meet at the market, having a coffee in a bar or just walking around.
